Holidays are a magical time. But they can also be a stressful time. We put so many demands and “shoulds” on ourselves at this time of the year. As if this were not enough, the holidays are followed by two of the darkest and coldest months of the year. No wonder we crash and burn in January. This year, instead of constantly doing for everyone else, why not take the time to give yourself a gift? Be prepared for the “after holiday blues” with a self care basket.

I know it’s early but let’s face it, tomorrow is Halloween and after that the stores will be filled with Christmas goodies and the ads and commercials and requests for commitments will be flowing.
Why not get a few steps ahead of the holidays? Pick at least three items from this challenge and tuck them away for after the hustle and bustle of the holidays. Once the dark and blustery nights of January arrive, you’ll be so glad you did!
