I am so glad you’re here. I’m Betsy, a full time working mama of an energetic five year old daughter named Meadow.

I love walking barefoot in the grass, candle light, peonies, curling up with a good book,  fairies, the sound of rain, and the mysteries of the moon. I believe in kindred spirits, picking fresh flowers for the house on a daily basis and that sisterhood is a balm for the spirit. Passionate about the healing arts, I became a Certified Holistic Health Practitioner in 2005. Later I studied aromatherapy with Jeanne Rose and apprenticed with herbalist Rosemary Gladstar. I received my registered yoga teacher certification in 2008. (Yet I still work a full time office job.)

I never planned on being a mom, but in 2010 my daughter was born. I fell head first into despair, overwhelm, and some serious postpartum depression. It was definitely my dark night of the soul. I was a sleep deprived zombie with a fussy, colicky baby. To make matters worse, I felt that I failed at breastfeeding, something I desperately wanted to work. I deeply mourned the freedom of my old life and I dreamed of the day when I would finally experience the bliss of getting a full night’s sleep.

As a new mother, I was frustrated that I had so many tools for healthy living and dealing with stress, yet was unable to perform even the simplest task such as brush my teeth. Life felt like it was spinning out of control.

Fast forward to five years later.

I have never felt more peace and contentment with what I was meant to do in life: be her mother and encourage other moms on their path.

But I didn’t arrive here overnight. The last five years have been a journey back, weaving together my past teachings with the lessons my daughter teaches me each and every day.
